All of my lovely content creators out there are probably cringing big-time with this tip, but I don’t care! Small business owners are swamped! I know people who literally have scheduled time to get up and away from their desk for 5 minutes. This is no joke — we really, truly need to find ways to streamline what we do. Batching content is one, great way. But, there’s another.
#MotivationMonday Tip: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. Remember that slogan to help minimize waste? How about we apply this toward wasting our precious time?
Reduce the time that you spend promoting your business by focusing on really doing 1-2 channels in an incredible way, instead of spreading yourself too thin.
Then, reuse & recycle! Find those old Instagram posts that you poured your heart into writing, refresh with an additional tip or insight or quote from an expert and re-publish that bad boy. Odds are, even if you have amazing content the likelihood of people combing through months worth of posts is unlikely (ain’t nobody got time for that). Repost and bring that golden nugget of advice back to the top of their minds and save yourself an hour or so writing a fresh blog post.
