We were all excited leave 2020 as the ‘unprecedented’ year of the past and welcome in the new year with open arms. But admittedly, 2021 has gotten off to a slower-than-usual start and I was looking for ways to stay motivated. Leaning on the D&Co Peer Advisory Group, I gathered inputs from a bunch of our members about their favorite songs that keep them motivated. Check out the playlist I put together based on their inputs, it’s as eclectic and diverse as the group and I absolutely love it!

  • I love “Dance Monkey” by Tones & I and “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish.

  • Evelyn, the Head of Client Acquisition at Phorest Salon Software suggests “Land of 1000 Dances” by Wilson Pickett and “Castles” by Freya Ridings. Oh and a very special one by Britney, b*tch. :)

  • Meahgan, a marketer recommended “Bones” by Josh Record and “Ancient Light” by Allman Brown.

  • Dortha, owner/operator of Pretty Smart Virtual Services recommends anything by 2Cellos, Hauser and “Feeling Good” by Michael Bublé.

  • Kyle, exercise physiologist specializing in foot health likes to listen to “Mirror in the Bathroom” by The English Beat and “Let It Roll” by Little Feat (not on the playlist below).

  • Dayle, owner of Design Studio No. 4 suggests “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers..

  • Melita, owner of MISO Living has a few playlists of her own! Check them out here. We pulled a couple songs from these playlists too.

  • Erin, owner of Studio for Mindfulness recommends “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai and “Borderline” by Tame Impala.

  • New England based-designer Emily had a bunch of suggestions! We included “Move Your Body (Alan Walker Remix)” by Sia and “Savage Remix (feat. Beyoncé)” by Megan Thee Stallion.

  • Julie, investment property owner/manager recommended a bunch too! We included “Good As Hell” by Lizzo, “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift, “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child” and of course — “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper.

Enjoy! (note: some explicit content included) What songs keep you motivated? Comment below!
